Virginia Dare Jones Jeffries

Virginia Dare Jones Jeffries, 64, of Holly Springs, died Aug. 18, 2017, at her home. She was a member of Beverly Chapel CME Church, church choir president, a member of the Marshall County Library Board of Trustees and a retired teacher at ICS Head Start.

Visitation will be Aug. 25, 2-7 p.m., with the family from 6-7 p.m., at the funeral home, and Aug. 26 from 10-10:55 a.m. at the church. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 26 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries with burial in Cottrell Memorial Garden. Rev. Antonio Jones will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, DeHarce Jeffries; two daughters, Yolanda Carter of Olive Branch, Amber Jeffries of Holly Springs; two sons, Charles Jeffries of Olive Branch and Jerry Jeffries of Memphis, Tenn.; four sisters, Mae Glover of Aurora, Ill., Ardelia Johnson of Memphis, Dorothy Jeffries, Glenda Manning, both of Holly Springs; two brothers, James Jones of Aurora, George Jones of Walls; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
