Vertie Mae Terry-McWhirter, 94, formerly of Holly Springs, of Memphis, Tenn., died June 17, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on June 19 at Memphis Memory Gardens. Family Funeral Care was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her children, Cathy Douglas (the late Robert), Buford H. Jones (Katie Ellen), William Andrew Jones (Patty), Gary Wayne Jones (Theresa Gurley), Pamela Kay JonesWilliams (Samuel); one sister, Ola Marie George; 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
