Vera Ann Dennis

Vera Ann Dennis, 55, of Michigan City, died April 24, 2018, at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth. She worked at Oakville Health Center in Memphis, Tenn., and was a unit secretary at Methodist Germantown Hospital until her health failed.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on May 5 at St. James COGIC with burial in Grand Junction Cemetery. Supt. James. L. Norman officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves a son, Montrell L. Payne; a brother, Hollis Dennis (Atwater); five sisters, Martha Franklin, Debra McKinnie (Billy), Peggy Joy (Eddie), Roshell Thompson (Mark) and Angela Dennis; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Shaw.
