Velissa Mary Shaw Luellen

Velissa Mary Shaw Luellen, 61, of Holly Springs, died April 21, 2021, at Alliance Healthcare System in Holly Springs. She was a member of Smith Grove MB Church where she served on the hospitality board and in kitchen ministry. She was an order picker for Snap-On Tools in Olive Branch.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on April 28 at Smith Grove MB Church Cemetery in Holly Springs. Pastor Michael Gordon officiated.

She leaves two children, Esperonda Snow, Corey Luellen, both of Holly Springs; six sisters, Bertha B. Newsom of Fort Wayne, Ind., Teresa Oliver, Debbie King, Joyce Shaw, all of Holly Springs, Georgia Hubbard of Oswego, Ill., Youlanda Johnson of Memphis, Tenn.; four brothers, Conway Lyles of Fort Wayne, Maurice Shaw, Melvin Shaw, both of Naperville, Ill., and Tyrone Shaw of Chicago, Ill.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Trent Ingram.
