Travis Leopard

Travis Leopard, age 69, of Potts Camp, MS, died at home on June 13, 2017. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. He worked for Memphis Hardwood Flooring in Potts Camp for 36 years as mill foreman.

Visitation was held June 17 at Holly Springs Funeral Home. Services were held at 2 p.m. on June 18, 2017, at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Tony Moore officiated. Burial was at Temperance Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. He was laid to rest beside his mother and father. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife of 48 years, Betty; daughter Rita Burge (Lynn), son Mark Leopard (Renee), daughter Heather Holbrook (Daniel); four brothers, K.C. Smith, Troy Leopard, Jack Leopard and Lavern Leopard; sister Kay Leopard Hale; four grandsons, Brent Burge (Kristan), Tyler Leopard, Adam Burge and Andrew Leopard; one great-granddaughter, Adlee Burge; and his dog Jack.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fronie and Bill H. Leopard, as well as a brother, Billy Wayne Leopard and a sister, Catherine Leopard Smith.

Pallbearers were Joseph Deleon, Angus Oswalt, Kody Joyner, Herbert Luther, Lonnie Cook, Chad Boren, Terry Cook and Eugene Culver.
