Tony Bernard Holloway

Tony Bernard Holloway, 62, of Park Forest, Ill., formerly of Byhalia, died Monday, Aug, 17, at his home in Park Forest.

He was a former member of Mt. Sinai MB Church in Byhalia and a U.S. Army veteran. He worked as an automobile mechanic.

Services were Saturday, Aug. 29, 10 a.m., at the Rising Star MB Church in Holly Springs with Minister Kirby Holloway. Cremation followed the funeral service. Visitation at the J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home of Holly Springs was Friday, Aug. 28, from 12 noon-5:30 p.m.; and at the church on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 9-9:55 a.m.

He leaves children: Tony B. Holloway Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; Marquetta Hawk of Holly Springs; Kecia Holloway of Houston, Texas; Umecia Williams of San Antonio, Texas; Tia Minor of California; and Tekayah Holloway of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; brothers: Vincent (Marie) Holloway of Byhalia; Tracey Harden of Byhalia; and Dennis Moore of Byhalia; 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by parents: Jessie Harden and Merlee Holloway Sharp.
