Tom Preston Lesure, 87, of St. Paul, Minn., native of Marshall County, died Sept. 20, 2017. He was a member of Mt. Olive Church in St. Paul, where he served on the deacon board.
Memorial services will be held Dec. 31 at 2 p.m. at Powell Chapel MB Church, where he was a former member. Rev. Eddie Walker, pastor, will officiate.
He leaves his wife, Ellar Lesure of Potts Camp; a daughter, Mildred Burgess (Bernell) of Holly Springs; sons, Bernard and Tommy Lesure, both of St. Paul; a sister, Bertha Woods of Byhalia; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Dorothy Pearson and Janis Lesure.
