Tinnie Mae Buggs Gibson

Tinnie Mae Buggs Gibson, 86, of Michigan City, died Sept. 12, 2018, at her home. A homemaker, she was a church usher and church mother. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 15 at Union Hill MB Church in Ashland, where she was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rev. Willie Smith officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Maso Gibson; two daughters, Elberta Brown, Della Beasley, both of Michigan City; three sons, Maso Gibson Jr., Thomas Gibson, Christopher Gibson, all of Michigan City; four sisters, Evelyn Hicks of Grand Junction, Tenn., Dorothy Jean Waters of Broken Arrow, Okla., Flossie Mae Richardson of Nashville, Tenn., Annie Ruth Smith of Bolivar, Tenn.;  three brothers, Freddie Buggs of Grand Junction, Izear Buggs of Michigan City, A.C. Buggs of  Memphis, Tenn.;  16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
