Thomas Clyde Stewart

Thomas Clyde Stewart, 83, of Holly Springs, passed away on October 30, 2021, in Oxford, Miss. He was born in Memphis on March 9, 1938, to Thomas Marvin Stewart and Katherine Elizabeth Smart Stewart. Mr. Stewart was the owner of Cash Lumber Company and a United States Army National Guard Veteran.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife of sixty years, Phoebe Evans Stewart; a son, Thomas Marvin Stewart II (Linda); and a daughter, Lea Elizabeth Stewart, all of Holly Springs. He also leaves grandchildren, Brittany Stewart Holmes (John) of Ripley, and Thomas Lea Stewart, and a great grandson, John Marshall Holmes.

Services for Mr. Stewart will be held in the chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 2 p.m. A visitation will begin at noon, and last until service time. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Mitchell, DeWitt Christy, Herman Young, John Gribble, James Richmond, Eric Lester, Bob Lomenick, Mike Moore, Ben Evans, Billy Murphree, Mike Thompson, and Chuck Thomas.
