Theotis “Art” Williamson Sr.

Theotis “Art” Williamson Sr., 86, of Holly Springs, died March 17, 2018, at his home. The widower of Willie Mae Scruggs Williamson, he was a former member of Good Hope Methodist Church in Benton County. He was a retired maintenance man at the old Marshall County Hospital.

Visitation will be held March 24 from 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home, and on March 25 from 3-3:55 p.m. at the church.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. on March 25 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries with burial in Cottrell Memorial Garden. Rev. Mark Williamson will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves two daughters, Carolyn Pegues of Holly Springs, Shirley Sharp of Michigan City; two sons, Theotis Williamson Jr., of Langston, Pa., Rodney Crain of Holly Springs; a sister, Grace Oswalt of Holly Springs; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Frank Scruggs Jr., and two brothers, Ransom Williamson, and William Henry Williamson.
