Thelma Ben Bogan Jr.

Thelma Ben Bogan Jr., 63, of Holly Springs, died Sept. 28, 2017, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a mechanic at Cross Country Charter Tours, owner of Bogan Bus and Body Shop; member of the Car Club and put on car shows. He was a church usher.

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home on Oct. 6, and from 10-10:55 a.m. on Oct. 7, at the church.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 7, at Sand Hill MB Church in Lamar, where he was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Darrell Mays will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Gloria Hampton Bogan; three children, Thelma Ben Bogan III of Rossville, Tenn., Clarissa “Patty” Bogan, Nashica Euell, both of Memphis; three stepchildren, Edward Hubbard, Marica Hubbard, both of Holly Springs, LaKenya Hubbard of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Calvin Bogan of Piperton, Tenn.; four sisters, Magelene Hancock, Annie McClain, Shirley Lindsey, all of Memphis, Dorothy Hurt of Chicago, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
