Ted Lee Smith

Ted Lee Smith, 60, of Michigan City, died December 2, 2025, at his home. He was a member of Hardaway MB Church where he sang in the male choir. He was a machine operator at Troxel Manufacturing.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Dec. 12 from 12-5 p.m. and on Dec. 13 at Hardaway MB Church in Michigan City from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Joseph Johnson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his wife, Susie M. Long Smith; daughter, Tandria Smith of Olive Branch; sons, Corted Smith of Grand Junction, Tenn., Terrance Smith of Michigan City, Cortez Smith of Grand Junction; sisters, Zollie Gibson of Michigan City, Wyvonnie Smith of Olive Branch, LaVern Tucker of Memphis, Tenn., Sandra Williamson of Cordova, Tenn.; brothers, Johnny Ray Smith of Michigan City, Jonas Woodson of Memphis; and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie B. and Zollie Buggs Smith.
