Tavashia Jamil Hale

Tavashia Jamil Hale, 27, of Byhalia, died Dec. 25, 2018, in Panola County. A 2009 graduate of H.W. Byers High School, she was a member of Mt. Pisgah CME Church in Cayce where she was a praise dancer and former choir and usher member. She was a cashier at Domino's Pizza in Collierville, Tenn.

Visitation will be held on Jan. 4 from 1-6 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home, and on Jan. 5 from 99:55 a.m. at H.W. Byers High School Gymnasium, with services following at 10 a.m. Rev. Eddie Wilson and Rev. LaDaryl Odum will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah CME Church Cemetery.

She leaves one daughter, Aria Hale of Lake Center; two sons, Jaylen Turner of Memphis, Tenn., and Cayden Freeman of Lake Center; her mother, Lee Ann Hale of Nashville, Tenn.; her father, Emmitt Woodson of Red Banks; one sister, Brandi Woodson of Holly Springs; and one brother, Tevin Moore of Olive Branch.
