Stella Louise Akins Davis

Stella Louise Akins Davis, 77, of Byhalia, died April 12, 2021, at her daughter's home in Holly Springs. She was a member of Wall Hill Church of Christ in Coldwater and formerly in housekeeping at Holiday Inn in Olive Branch.

Graveside services were held at 12 noon on April 18 at Wall Hill Church of Christ Cemetery. Brother Dave Shipp officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a daughter, Sharon A. Evans (Bobby) of Holly Springs; son, Richard Akins (Lennette) of Holly Springs; three brothers, Winford Akins of Detroit, Mich., Henry Akins of Byhalia, Lee Edward Norman of Dallas, Texas; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Atha Davis; son, Curtis Akins; and a grandchild.
