Stanley Payne, 56, of Holly Springs, died Sept. 8, 2017, at Holly Springs Health and Rehab. A church usher, he was a graduate of Holly Springs High School. He was formerly employed at True Value Hardware. After True Value closed, he worked at The South Reporter and BJ’s Cleaners.
Visitation will be Sept. 15, 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home and Sept. 16, at the church, from 9-9:55 a.m.
Services will be held at True Vine MB Church, where he was a member. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden. Rev. Timothy Brown will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his caregiver, Tanesha Payne Scott of Olive Branch; five sisters, Carolyn Turnage, Linder Payne, both of Holly Springs, Jannie Payne Foster of Hickory Flat, Patricia Rucker of Oxford, Louri Payne of Tulsa, Okla.; and four brothers, Harvey Payne, Glenn Payne, both of Holly Springs, Willie Ray Payne of St. Louis, Mo., and Harold Payne of Denver, Colo.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Theodis Payne.
