Sidney Warren

Sidney Warren, 95, of Holly Springs, died February 24, 2022, in Oxford. He was a member of Strawberry MB Church where he was a member of the church deacon board and chairman of the kitchen committee. He was a retired order clerk in retail clothing in Chicago, Ill.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on March 3 from 3-5:30 p.m. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on March 4 at Strawberry MB Church. Rev. Fredrick Fluker, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his wife, Minnie Howell Warren of Oxford; children, Evon Burrell of Des Moines, Iowa, Alice Cato of San Francisco, Calif.; stepdaughters, Alice Wilkins, Nettie Howell, both of Holly Springs, Linda Brown of Oxford, Jenny Jones and Barbara Dyers, both of Memphis, Tenn., Brenda Morrison of Maryland; and brother, Stanley R. Warren of Holly Springs.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Herbert Warren, Dressten Warren and Robert Lee Warren.
