Shoney Moore Porter

Shoney Moore Porter, 53, died March 12, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. She was a caregiver.

Visitation will be held at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel on March 19 from 3-8 p.m. with a memorial service at 2 p.m. on March 21.

She leaves two children, Nishitka Rogers of Holly Springs, Robert Jackson Jr. of Champaign, Ill.; nine sisters, Della Mae Patterson of Champaign, Mary Lee Porter-Jones of Holly Springs, Augustine Porter of Denver, Co., Helen Ann Mallory, Connie Faye Porter of NY, Lisa Porter Alexander, Rochell Lyles, both of Holly Springs, LaTonya Coleman of Dyersburg, Tenn., Sherry Wicks-Lloyd of Atlanta, Ga.; four brothers, Terry Louis Porter Sr. of Rantoul Ill., Henry Mallory Jr., Elmo Lyles Jr., Willie Campbell, all of Holly Springs; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo Lyles and Ida B. Hughes Porter.
