Shirley Jean Thompson Perry

Shirley Jean Thompson Perry, 71, of Olive Branch, formerly of Holly Springs, died March 25, 2023, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a retired case worker with the Department of Human Services, Marshall County.

Services will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on April 6 from 3-5:30 p.m. and at Jones Grove MB Church on April 7 from 11-11:55 a.m. with services at 12 noon. Gerald Perry will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion CME Church Cemetery in Ashland.

She leaves a daughter, Heather Perry of Victoria; son, Gerald Perry of Holly Springs; brother, Wearlee Thompson of Chicago, Ill.; sisters, Theresa West, Valerie McDaniels, both of Columbus, Ga., Wanda Brown of Ozark, Ala.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, George Perry III.
