Shevita LaFaye Curry Jackson

Shevita LaFaye Curry Jackson, 39, of Olive Branch, died April 10, 2018, at Alliance HealthCare System. She was a member of St. John MB Church in Memphis, Tenn., and a former choir member. She was a former cook at Walmart in Olive Branch.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on April 18 at Wilkins Chapel CME Church in Waterford, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Robert Odum officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, James Jackson; two children, Caresse McGaughey of Memphis, Tenn., James McGaughey of Olive Branch; three sisters, Kimberly Williams of Holly Springs, her twin sister, Shaquita Lumpkin of Byhalia, April Jones of Byhalia; and three brothers, Michael Curry of Chicago, Ill., Marcell Curry, and Timothy Jenes, both of Byhalia.
