Sheryl Elaine Byers Pegues

Sheryl Elaine Byers Pegues, 60, of Holly Springs, died April 2, 2023, at Holly Springs Rehab and Health. She was a member of Bell Grove MB Church where she served as president of the Usher Board. She was a mental health tech at Parkwood Behavioral Health Care Center.

Services will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on April 7 from 3-5:30 p.m. and on April 8 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries from 1:302:25 p.m. with services at 2:30. Rev. Terrance Pittman will officiate. Burial will be in Bell Grove MB Church Cemetery in the Chulahoma community.

She leaves her daughters, Brittany Byers of Holly Springs, Keena Pegues of Olive Branch, Ashley Walker of Holly Springs; son, Darrin Byers of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Georgia King of Holly Springs, Bernice Walton of Memphis, Gwendolyn Haten of Harahan, La., Loretta Brim, Ruby Poole, both of Holly Springs; brothers, Charles Byers, Bernie Byers, Bernard Byers, all of Holly Springs, Jerry Shaw, Randy Shaw both of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Josephine Dillard Byers; siblings, Sylvester Byers and Jerry Byers.
