Sherri Chianti Rankin

Sherri Chianti Rankin, 45 of Byhalia, died August 6, 2025, at Baptist Memorial HospitalDeSoto in Southaven. She was a member of Nichols Chapel CME Church and a general warehouse worker at Sephora Warehouse in Olive Branch.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Aug. 15 from 2-5:30 p.m. and on Aug. 16 at Nichols Chapel CME Church from 9-9:55 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Rev. Michael Adams will officiate. Burial will be in St. Matthews MB Church Cemetery in Byhalia.

She leaves a daughter, Latyna Rankins of Byhalia; son, Courtney Rankin of Byhalia; mother, Cecillia Ann Rankin Chew of Byhalia; sisters, LaToya Clayton of Byhalia, Tamekia Malone of Fort Worth, Texas; brothers, Kelvin Chew of Olive Branch, and Kendrick Rankin (Barbara Ann) of Byhalia.

She was preceded in death by a son, Dacamryn Rankin and father, Elliott Jones Jr.
