Shannon Beard Harris-Griffin

Shannon Beard Harris-Griffin, 47, of Holly Springs, formerly of Collierville, Tenn., died Dec. 10, 2018, at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Strawberry MB Church in Holly Springs and member of the church choir. She was a dialysis technician.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Dec. 16 at Holy Family School Gymnasium. Pastor Curlie Relliford officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, J.C. Griffin Jr.; three daughters, J'Shala Griffin of Collierville, Michelle Lawrence of Southaven, Jasmine Harris of Memphis; one son, Courtney Griffin of Memphis; her mother, Barbara Freeman Beard of Holly Springs; one sister, Carol Glover of Holly Springs; two brothers, John Beard of Red Banks, Johnathan Bowens of Holly Springs; and her grandmother, Maggie Freeman of Holly Springs.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Edward Beard.
