Shanekqua Shantel Johnson

Shanekqua Shantel Johnson, 26, of Holly Springs, died March 24, 2018, at Baptist Hospital in Oxford. She had attended Potts Camp High School, where she ran track and was point guard on the Lady Cardinal basketball team.

Visitation will be March 30 from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home, and on March 31 from 10- 10:55 a.m. at the church.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on March 31 at New Dimensin Salt and Light Ministries in Holly Springs, where she was a member. Pastor Actavious Allen will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a daughter, Katlyn Johnson of Waterford; her mother, Georgia Johnson of Waterford; four sisters, LaToya Smith of Byhalia, Tangela Mosley, Kalisha Phillips, both of Holly Springs, Jalisa Mosley of Senatobia; a brother, Dewayne Johnson Jr. of Holly Springs; and her grandmother, Ada Johnson of Waterford.
