Savaniel Moore Jr.

Savaniel Moore Jr., 64, of Byhalia, died Jan. 8, 2017, at his home. He was a 1973 graduate of Holly Springs High School and was employed with the Marshall County School District and later with Street’s Standard.

Services were held at 12 noon on Jan. 14 at Mt. Newell MB Church in Red Banks, where he was a member. Rev. Michael Johnson officiated. Burial was in Mt. Newell Memorial Garden. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a son, Derrick D.  Boxley (Nickla);  a stepson, S. Wayne Yeager-Moore; two daughters, Lisa L. Payne, Pebbles M. Moore; his father, Savaniel Moore Sr.; six brothers, Sidney (Jeanette), Othello (Mary Frances), David (Georgia), Ronald (Pamela), Thomas (LuBertha), and Steven; six sisters, Rose, Mary, Elizabeth, Gwendolyn, Pattie and Terrie; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
