Sarah Gene Dodson

Sarah Gene Dodson, 68, of Holly Springs, died Nov. 24, 2017, at her home. She was the widow of James H. Dodson.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 27 at Lifepoint Church in Senatobia. Pate-Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves daughters, Jennifer Partain (Don) of Senatobia, Carrie Dodson of Potts Camp, DeAnna Potts (Chad) of Horn Lake, Kelly Makerney (Cole) of Senatobia; sons, Charles Dodson (Shelia) of Holly Springs, James H. Dodson III (Brandy) of Potts Camp; a sister, Martha Flynn (Richard) of Coldwater; a brother, Charles Fred Cooper III of Tenn.; 21 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a companion, Charles Wayne Howell of Holly Springs.

She was preceded in death by a brother, William Glenn Cooper.
