Sampson Allen Nutt, 85, of Hickory Flat, died Mar. 5, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-New Albany. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and a truck driver.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Mar. 5 at Pine Grove Cemetery. Bro. Randy Hamilton officiated. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves a daughter, Lawanda Treadaway (Wayne) of Blue Springs; daughter-in-law, Connie Nutt; two brothers, Adron McNutt of Knoxville, Tenn., Leland Stanton of Hickory Flat; sister, Janis Alderson of Waterford; two grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
He was preceeded in death by his wife, Mary Nutt; and a son, Steve Nutt.
