Sammy Ray Stradley

Sammy Ray “Sam” Stradley, 84, of Holly Springs, died Jan. 15, 2018, at his home. The widower of Polly Rutherford Stradley, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War. He worked in construction at PSI until he was 82.

Services wee held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 18 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Hill Crest Cemetery.

He leaves a stepson, Mitch Curl of Munford, Tenn.; four stepdaughters, Paula Stephenson of Southaven, Susan Brame of Olive Branch, Elana Gresham of Holly Springs, Jill Strauss of Oxford, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ray Stradley.
