Sammy Joe Farrar, 75, of Byhalia, died January 23, 2022. He was a Baptist and a truck driver.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 2 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Oscar and Bro. Amos officiated. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery in the Tilden community in Itawamba County.
He leaves a daughter, Tammy Nolan of Brewer; stepdaughter, Bonita Haney Conway of Holly Springs; stepsons, Mark Haney (Melissa), Andy Haney (Rhonda), both of Waterford; brother, Douglas Farrar (Jean) of Winter Haven, Fla.; sister, Sherry Farrar Murry (Tommy) of Bastrop, La.; 10 grandchildren, five-step grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Haney Farrar; three brothers and three sisters.
