Sallie Evelyn Jeffries

Sallie Evelyn Jeffries, 77, of Holly Springs, died September 16, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Wilkins Chapel CME Church in Waterford and was retired from Ford Motor Company in Detroit, Mich.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Sept. 25 from 1-4 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 26 at Wilkins Chapel CME Church Cemetery. Pastor Lexine Smith will officiate.

She leaves a son, Carlos V. Jeffries of Detroit; two sisters, Frances Jeffries of Detroit, Irene Jeffries of Holly Springs; two brothers, Willie F. Jeffries Jr. (Gladys), Harold Jeffries Sr. (Willette), both of Holly Springs; five grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Mack S. Jeffries and Howard E. Jeffries.
