S L Tate

S L Tate, 75, of Moscow, Tenn., died July 11, 2022, at his home. He was a member of Sand Hill MB Church in Lamar.

Visitation will be held at New Community Church, Holly Springs, on July 22 from 2-5 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on July 23 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries. Burial will follow in Sand Hill MB Church Cemetery. Serenity-Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves six daughters, Teresa Hughes (Anthony) of Red Banks, Doris Chaffin (James) of Memphis, Tenn., Cynthia Fallconer (Derrick) of Detroit, Mich.; Nicole Goodwin (Michael) of Moscow, Monica Tittle (Steve) of Memphis, Tiffany Thompson of Lamar; five sisters, Doris Evans of Holly Springs, Emma Parker (Milton), Janice Lawrence, both of Olive Branch, Betty Thomas of Michigan City, Debbie Sanders of Lamar; three brothers, Barnett Campbell (Twannda) of Ashland, Mike Campbell of Lamar, Mozell Hampton of Michigan; 32 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Tate; and sister, Lizzie Campbell.
