Ruby Naomi Lester

Ruby Naomi Lester, 91, of Potts Camp, died February 17, 2026, at her home. She was a member of Mt. Ollie MB Church where she served on the mother board. She was retired from Wulitzer.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Feb. 27 from 3:30-6:00 p.m. And on Feb. 28 at Mt. Ollie MB Church from 10-10:55 a.m. With services at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Bessie Tables and Rev. Anthony Marion, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves a daughter, Loretta Robinson of Potts Camp; son, Joe Walter Lester of New Albany; brothers, Bernard Peyton of Los Angeles, Calif., Charles Peyton of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Henry Eugene Lester; siblings, Conley Peyton, Odessa Walker, Mary Vance, Gene Peyton, Victor Peyton, Benny Peyton, Mark Peyton and Emerson Peyton.
