Roy Lee Hale

Roy Lee Hale, 70, of Byhalia, died Jan. 20, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a member of New Way of Living Church in Cayce, a former member of Mt. Pisgah CME Church where he served as a deacon. He was a disabled bus driver for the Marshall County Schools.

Visitation will be held on Jan. 31 from 2-6 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home; and on Feb. 1 from 9-9:55 a.m. at Mt. Pisgah CME Church in Cayce. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Rev. McArthur Crutcher will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves two daughters, Sheretha Hale of Memphis, Latrina Johnson of Olive Branch; four sons, Tony Hale of Augusta, Ga., James Guy of Memphis, Zack Hale of Houston, Texas, Deonte Hale of Selmer, Tenn; five sisters, Mary Odum, Clara Watkins and Brenda Carter, all of Byhalia, Lee Ann Hale of Nashville, Tenn., Nina Lindsey of Memphis; three brothers, Al Hale and James Hale, both of Byhalia, Randy Lindsey of Memphis; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
