Roy Gilmer Carpenter, 84, of Holly Springs, died May 10, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Oxford. He was a farmer and a United States Army veteran.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on May 15 at Red Banks Baptist Church. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves two brothers, Ronnie Carpenter of Drummonds, Tenn., and John Paul Carpenter of Holly Springs; his family, Danny Carpenter, Brad Carpenter, Kenneth Carpenter, Stephen Carpenter, Leigh Ann Carpenter, Hannah Carpenter Hoffine, and Jayce Carpenter.
