Rosie Lee Thomas

Rosie Lee Thomas, 89, of Holly Springs, died May 26, 2023, at her home. She was a member of Sand Hill MB Church in Lamar where she served on the mother board, was vice president of missionary, member of the church choir and the church custodian. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and retired from Sand Paper factory.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on June 2 from 3-6 p.m. and on June 3 at Sand Hill MB Church from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Daryl Mays, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemeter y.

She leaves her daughters, Annie Spight of Holly Springs, Verlean Dowdy of Yorkville, Ill., Dianne Thomas of Holly Springs, Virginia Jones of Minneapolis, Minn., Brenda Reynolds of Olive Branch; sons, James E. Thomas, David Lee Thomas, both of Holly Springs; sisters, Mary Harris of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Caldia Moore of Coon Rapids, Minn., Tracy Sanders of Omaha, Neb.; brothers, Samuel Harris of Eden Prairie, Minn., Joseph Harris of Bellevue, Neb.; 26 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and 20-great-greatgrandchildren.

She was preceeded in death by husband, S.P. "Boose" Thomas; son, Bobby C. Thomas; sisters Maude Harris and Effie Lockett.
