Roscoe Peterson

Roscoe Peterson, 73, of Detroit, Mich., formerly of Ashland, died June 10, 2019, in Detroit. He was a member of Greenwood MB Church in Lamar, a graduate of Old Salem High School in Ashland, and a butcher at Cattleman's Beef Company.

Visitation will be from 1-6 p.m. on June 21 at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home; and on June 22, from 10-10:55 a.m. at Greenwood MB Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Rev. Houston Evans will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves four sisters, Mary McNairy of Mesquite, Texas, Loretta Richards of Chicago, Ill., Ailene Noldon of Los Angeles, Calif., Darlene Everett of Chicago; two brothers, Sherman Everett of Springfield, Ill., and Dwayne Everett of Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Bernice Bruce and Rosie Lee Strickland.
