Roosevelt Morgan Jr., 67, of Holly Springs, died July 20, 2021, at his home. He was a member of Pleasant Grove MB Church in Red Banks where he served on the usher board. He was an electrician.
Graveside services were held at 9 a.m. on July 25, at Pleasant Grove MB Church Cemetery. Pastor Alberoderick Neely officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Bonnie King Morgan; daughter, Jacqueline Prather of Ripley; three sons, Charles Morgan of Olive Branch, Melvin Morgan and Marvin Morgan, both of Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Mattie Morgan of Memphis, Ethel Hampton, Vaitor Joyner, both of Lamar; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lanaye Yancey.
