Ronnie Paul Hunt

Ronnie Paul Hunt, 57, of Falkner, formerly of Holly Springs, died Jan. 9, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a graduate of Holly Springs High School and a former employee of Emerson, Carrier and Ashley Furniture. He was a self-employed auto mechanic.

Visitation will be Jan. 17 from 1-7 p.m. at the funeral home, with the family from 6-7 p.m., and on Jan. 18 from 12 noon to 12:55 p.m. at the church.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 18 at Greenwood MB Church in Lamar, where he was a member. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden. Rev. Dr. Patrick Washington will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Renee LeSure Hunt; a son, Jeramie Lawrence of Falkner; three daughters, Yureka Pirtle of Memphis, Precious Hunt of Oxford, Nichole Hunt of Falkner; nine sisters, Donna Jeffries, Carol Hughes, Lena Glover, Dianne Finley, Leona Harris, Pearlie Finley-Cowan of Holly Springs, Carlotta Hunt of Houston, Texas, Betty Ann Hardin of Abbeville, Annie Richmond of Florida; five brothers, Lee Edward Davis of Buffalo, N.Y., Oliver Finley Jr., Willie Lee Finley, Johnnie Richmond, all of Holly Springs, Edward Richmond of Potts Camp; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Hunt, William Hunt, Charlie Finley, and a sister, Gloria Jean Hunt.
