Roger Ladale Butler

Roger Ladale Butler, 56, of Etta, died July 6, 2020, in Chattanooga, Tenn. The son of William Ezra Butler and Louise Hale, he was a Pentecostal and a tank builder for Butler Steel Works.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on July 10 at Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Burial was in Enterprise Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Debra Butler of Potts Camp; a son, Chauncey Butler of Etta; four brothers, Mike Butler (Kim) of Franklin, Tenn., James Butler (Dora) of Myrtle, Robert Butler (Tracy) of Etta, Hugh Butler (Betty) of Myrtle; five sisters, Judy Peters (Nicolaas) of Humboldt, Tenn., Amy Kiddy (Mike) of Myrtle, Brenda Cook (Mitchell) of Jackson, Tenn., Debra Jumper (Allen) of Myrtle, Sharon Allred (Mike) of Myrtle; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jacky Wayne Butler and Mitchell Lee Butler.
