Roberta Lawrence Rankins

Roberta Lawrence Rankins, 86, of Holly Springs, died Sept. 12, 2019, at her home. The widow of Frank Rankins, she was a member of Finley Grove MB Church where she was a member of the choir and on the Mother's Board. She was a retired cook for Liberty Supermarket.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home Sept. 20, from 2-7 p.m.; and on Sept. 21 at Finley Grove MB Church from 10-10:55 a.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Rev. James Green will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves two children, Bernice Rankins and Larry Rankins, both of Holly Springs; two sisters, Elizabeth McKinney of Holly Springs, Sadie Smith of Chicago, Ill.; one brother, William Howard Lawrence of Chicago; four grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Fay Rankins.
