Robert Wayne Kent, 82, of Byhalia, died December 31, 2023, in Byhalia. He was a member of Cherokee Baptist Church in Memphis, Tenn., a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. He was a truck driver for over 30 years.
Services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 7, 2024, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, Tenn. Phil Bridges officiated. Burial was in Lebanon Cemetery in Saltillo, Tenn.
He leaves his wife, Katherine Gail Kent of Byhalia; and sister, Janice Carter (Ben) of Richmond, Texas.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Kent.
