Robert Rucker Sr., 65, of Oxford, formerly of Holly Springs, died January 16, 2022. He was a mechanic, plumber and electrician.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 22 at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel. Minister Charles Preston officiated. Burial was in Bowen Cemetery in Holly Springs.
He leaves his wife, Patricia Rucker; two sons, Robert Rucker Jr. of Oxford, Patrick Rucker of Austin, Tex.; a daughter, Jasmine Rucker of Oxford; siblings, Christine Rucker, Mamie Allen, J.D. Rucker Jr. (Cynthia), Sarah Rogers, Dorothy R. Greer, Kathryn Rucker; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. (Bot) Rucker and Ruthie J. Rucker; and sister, Emma J. Greer.
