Robert Oneal House

Robert Oneal House, 82, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Holly Springs, died January 21, 2024, at Lundon B. Johnson General Hospital in Houston. He was a former member of Beverly Chapel CME Church, worked for the Coca Cola Bottling Plant in Holly Springs until they closed and then retired from Concrete Paver Inc. in Houston.

Graveside services were held at 12 noon on Feb. 3 in Beverly Chapel CME Church Cemetery. Rev. James C. Faulkner officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Dorothy Wade House; daughters, Alberta House of Memphis, Tenn., Cherie Porter Liggins of Holly Springs; sons, Allen House of Holly Springs, Norris O. House of Orlando, Fla., Ronnie T. House of Houston; sisters, Twyler Nabors, Gladys Parker, both of Holly Springs, Vivian Sims of Aurora, Ill., Rece Ingram of Memphis; brothers, Fulton Brooks of Aurora, Al Dexter Brooks of Atlanta, Ga., Anderson Brooks of Memphis, Willie James House of Chicago, Ill.; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Wayne Brooks, Michael Brooks and Eddie Frank Brooks.
