Robert Lee Isom Sr.

Robert Lee Isom Sr., 70, of Batesville, died December 28, 2025, at Diversicare of Batesville Nursing Home. He was a member of Hopewell No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church and later The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Oxford. He worked at Carrier in Collierville, Tenn.

Services will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Jan. 10, 2026, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery.

He leaves his sons, Larry Kimmons, Jairus Leasure, both of Holly Springs, Shawn Isom of Atlanta, Ga., Robert Christopher Wilkins (Kim) of Jackson; daughters, Esparonda Waller (Douglas) of Birmingham, Al., Storm Isom of Holly Springs; siblings, Evelean Richard, Bessie Isom, both of Holly Springs, Mae Lee Mason of Memphis, Tenn., James Isom (Elizabeth) of Holly Springs; 13 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Lester and Flora Lee Isom; son, Robert Lee Isom Jr.; siblings, Lester B. Isom, Roy Lee Isom, Randy Isom, Hattie Bell Isom, Mae Dell Howell, Ricky Isom, Jessie Isom and Frank Isom.
