Robert Lee "Flipper" Hampton

Robert Lee "Flipper" Hampton, 64, of Holly Springs, died July 13, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County. He was a member of Providence MB Church and a machine operator for BNSF Railway.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on July 23 from 3-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on July 24 at Cottrell Memorial Garden in Holly Springs. Min. Jeffrey Bohanna will officiate.

He leaves a daughter, Tina Lee Hampton-Brown of Holly Springs; mother, Lucy Mae Ayers Hampton of Holly Springs; four sisters, Martha Ann Hampton, Jessie Mae Hampton, Armintra Campbell, all of Holly Springs, Evon Mason of Memphis, Tenn.; three brothers, Freddie Louis Hampton of Holly Springs, James Earl Hampton of Germantown, Md., Larry Hampton of Memphis; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie T. "Jick" Hampton; and brother, Chester Cole.
