Robert Kelsey Bean

Robert Kelsey Bean, 78, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Lamar, died Jan. 22, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. He was a member of Shady Grove MB Church in Memphis. He was a security guard at Memphis Light, Gas and Water.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Jan. 30 at Greenwood MB Church Cemetery in Lamar. Rev. Aubrey Lee Thompson will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a daughter, Debora Bean of Memphis; sister, Mary Lou Bean Prater of Jackson; three brothers, George Bean of Lamar, Thurman Bean of Memphis, Walker Louis Bean of Indianapolis, Ind.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by two sisters, Willie Lavern Bean, Shirley Bean; five brothers, Curtis Bean, Walter Bean, Clarence Bean, Percy Bean and Aubrey Bean.
