Robert Eugene "Mickey"Penilton

Robert Eugene "Mickey" Penilton, 57, of Slayden, died November 28, 2021, at Methodist Hospital of Olive Branch. He was a member of Hudsonville CME Church where he was a church steward, on the board of trustees, choir member and an usher. He was a truck driver for Mobile Mini of Memphis, Tenn.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 5 at Hudsonville CME Church Family Life Center. Elder Bobby Wilson officiated. Burial was in Hudsonville CME Church Cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Brenda Seldon Penilton; daughter, Rosalyn Penilton of Slayden; sons, Brian Penilton (Yakira) of Olive Branch, Robert E. Penilton II (Kaylin) of Southaven; father, Robert Lee Penilton of Slayden; sister, Patricia Penilton Glass of Slayden; brothers, Ajacca "Skipper" Penilton Sr. (Susie) of Slayden, Michael Penilton (Martha) of Laws Hill, Christopher Penilton of Slayden; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Walker Penilton.
