Robert Edward "Red" Hudson
Robert Edward "Red" Hudson, 80, died Feb. 22, 2020, at his home in Batesville. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, was a member of the American Legion, the former president of Panola County Relief Fund, one of the founders of MS Street Rods, a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner, and a member of Sardis Church of Christ. He worked in an upholstery shop.
Services were held 2 p.m. on Feb. 26 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Burial was in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville.
He leaves his wife, Artie Rovene "Granny" Hudson; three daughters, Debbie Montgomery of Winona, Terri McGregory and Sandra Hailey, both of Pope; four sons, Kenneth Hudson of Lakeland, Fla., Ronald Hudson, Henry Hudson, and Robert E. "Rocky" Hudson Jr., all of Batesville; two brothers, William Horace "Killer" Hudson of Sardis, Spencer Hudson of Sumner; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-greatgrandchild.
