Rita Joyce Skelton, 74, of Holly Springs, died May 22, 2025, at her home. She was a member of Cedar Haven Baptist Church in Byhalia and employed as a caregiver with Holly Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for several years.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on May 31 at Serenity Funeral Home.
She leaves two sons, Christopher Charles Watts (Michelle) of Lake Center; Bobby Shane McCreger of Ruth; daughter, Christian Fuller (John) of Red Banks; brother, James Skelton Sr. (Debra) of Cockrum; sisters, Shirley Tribble (Bobby) of Oakland, Tenn., Fran Ransome (Tommy) of Bull Shoals, Ark., Sarah Purser (Corey) of Saulsbury, Tenn.; Susan Graves of Olive Branch; seven grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.
