Richard Lee George, 66, of Elizabethtown, Ky., formerly of Holly Springs and Memphis, Tenn., died November 8, 2024, at Baptist Health-Hardin in Elizabethtown. He was retired from Fred's Warehouse.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Nov. 21 from 10:30-11:55 a.m. with services at 12 noon. Rev. Christopher Walton will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

He leaves his wife, Peggy Marie Webb George of Memphis; daughters, Richaundra George, Tabitha Todd, both of Memphis; son, Brian George of Memphis; sisters, Carol "Jackie" Higgins, Mary George, both of Memphis, Ruby Vaughn of Atlanta, Ga.; brothers, Oscar George, Henry Jones, both of Memphis; and two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Linda George Powell and Irene George Woods.
