Richard (Dick) Myrland

Richard (Dick) Myrland, age 94, passed on Monday, January 23, 2017, in his home at Wesley Willows, Rockford, IL.  Dick was born on September 21, 1922, in Albert Lea, MN, the son of Richard Sr. and Clara (Johnson) Myrland, moving to Rockford at age 6. He married Jacquelyn Anderson of Evanston in 1944, who preceded him in death in 2004 after 60 years of marriage. During his career with the Wurlitzer Company, Dick served as a manager of the manufacturing plant in Holly Springs, MS.  

Dick is survived by his children and their spouses, Robert (Laura) Myrland of Memphis, John (Nancy) Myrland of Indianapolis, and Cynthia (Gerald) Kinsley of Loves Park; grandchildren Lynn Green, Kristin (Tony) Dixon, Jenny (Jason) Magill,  Kathryn (Steven) Linden, Kent (Marissa) Giardini, and Robert Myrland Jr.; great-grandchildren Emma, Emelia, Natalya, Flynn, Coco, Preston and Adeline; sister Dorothy Bonebreak, and brother Donald (Lillian) Myrland both of Rockford; and numerous nieces and nephews.   Predeceased by brother Dale.
